Hello all.

I recently spent a day at Bridlington enjoying the good weather. I noticed a lad beach fishing which has prompted me to dig out my beachcaster from the attic. I have not fished for about 15 years can I have a few tips please...

I've got sooo many questions :)

Is the beach fishing any good this time of year, what fish are around, what bait should I try and where is the best place to buy fresh bait, low/high tide ?

Or should I try the pier ?

thanks.

Best place for bait in Brid is Turnstone baits on the harbour [opposite Rags restaurant on South side].There is a little shack/shed that is open on weekends or if that is closed the will be in one of the units under the remains of the footbridge a few yards away-look out for a white corsa parked outside. For more info on the area look here-
