Well I was a little concerned about the weather but convinced myself it would be fine.
I loaded up my motor strapped my youngest in the back and headed for Cley.
45 minute drive got to the beach and they are charging to park:sad:
Never mind quick turn around and headed for Salthouse 5 mins up the road.
got out of the car and straight up the bank for a look at the sea.
My first thoughts were oh dear im not going to be here long.
The wind was very strong straight in your face and the waves were huge and I mean they were huge!
There were two people fishing holding there rods up high so I thought it was worth a cast.
I had just finished setting up and they decided to pack up.
after a few casts I realised I was wasting my time, it was far to rough to fish.
Plan of action, chuck all my gear in the car and head to hunstanton to fish of the prom.
Got to the prom with about an hour and a half to high tide, the wind was so strong from the right it was not easy fishing, again rough water with some big waves.
First cast and I caught a windsurfer:eek: he stormed straight into my line and jumped off his board.
He was very sorry and I did not see him again.
Fished for a couple of hours with no luck.
Heres a picture I took from Hunstanton.
