hi lads report for today as follows picked up bait as usual and chose ryhope dene thought this week being canny weatherwise i thought the sea would be the same how wrong i was still a very heavy swell on so decided to go to hendon fish quay but did not realise that lovely pice of royal navy metal was in so decided to go under the railway bridge a few hundred yds up river had about an hour there and blanked then once the crowds had gone from the ship managed to get into my usual spot and fished quite happily there for the next 2.1/2hrs totally blanked tried everything maccy squid and rag not a bite seem to have more luck up the tyne think i'll be trying more venues up there in the weeks to come any one else fished the wear today would be nice to know how peple got on as i think there was a comp on as well

hi mate i did have a hour or 2 along next to alexandra bridge ,nowt decent few coalies and odd small flatties ,but was nice to been out for a couple of hours
