hia lads ..... whoever has been fishing this weekend hope you all had a good time .... now i know its a bit early but does anybody know when the small tope start showing in the bay ?? i had a fish for them last year with no sucses .. there are some lads coming over from the north east forum and wont a fish for them ... wots the best bait ..... cheers .... steve .....

hi mate i was out in my boat last Thursday and pretty sure a tope took one of my mac baits but it bit of the 20lb line before i got to the rod, i have heard that a couple of small ones have been taken, its abit early yet best time around July, I had 5 last year in one go (not telling were ) best of luck.

I saw a few little ones being caught off the gynn wall around july last year. Tipping off worm with mack and squid was doing the trick.
I suppose any fish/squid baits will do the trick just has it does for dogs!!!
