Fished there again last night after the bass and sole again , not ideal tides for the bass , but just being out was nice , very windy night that just didnt let up , but the comfort of sitting in the back of your car and watching your rods was an added bonus , by 9 pm we had seen 3 sole come up , all over the pound mark but between me and paul all we could snag was micro pout and pin whiting , paul then decided on a bait change on his sole rig lifted into a right old lump , damn weed he muttered , as i went over line was nearing the bottom of the quay and then it took off lol , i grabbed the shockleader and hauled her up ..............
2 lb 11ozs , cracking fish :1a: no interest on the live baits all night untill as usual daybreak (usually over high ) but only 2 hours into the flood the live bait rod took a tumble sideways , grabbed the rod and hauled up a super sized schoolie approx 1 1/2 lbs lol , greedy git ! , one more fish for me was a snotty eel that done me the pleasure of falling off as it was coming up , great night in great company , i can see a record coming out of there soon
