i know it has been locked for a while now but is it stil possible to get on there.
My dad is coming up (means i can get some where other than the straights) and he has an aversion to walking so he likes fishing it. Has anyone heard of any thornbacks or small wrasse (or even anything besides doggies) coming off of it recently?

I've heard it is still being fished, apparently the railings can be by-passed. Errr hum .... but I didn't tell you that !

For variety try floatfishing by the stantions, pollack, coalie, Wrasse, Garfish, etc. Or baited shrinp rigs in the same plaice ....... I mean same area.

Big ... and I mean big baits might sort you out A Huss ....... otherwise Dog city !!!

cheers mate, i fished on friday, blowing a bloody gale.
Simply couldn't float fish, i tried fishing a whole small pollock i caught for a huss but no luck (only one edible crab which dropped off).
I did have about half a dozen dogfish in the end a bass of (about 1.5lb) two bull heads and a butterfish and some small pollcok down the side.
The huss in my picture is off trefor, caught it last easter.
