Doing a spot of camping with family over the weekend, and was thinking about Tremain Quay up Halford river.. Idea fun for family and fishing for me..! As i havn't fished this mark before, so any tips, bait, rigs etc from you friendly bunch would be apprecaited....:boat:

fish worm baits at any distance from the key and you can expect bass. As you look to the otherside of the river from the middle of the quay there is a clear patch between some weed to the left a bit this produces well in the summer. you may have to cast around til you find it. In the summer alot of black bream from here but a bit early yet. You might get a late flounder. we used 2 or 3 oz leads and they held fine. Obviously dont cast too far as you will be in the fast channel and will be wrapped in weed.
