Can anyone tell me where it might be worth a go for a trigger fish? PM me for discretion!

Thanks.

hi scatman, i`ve caught plenty of triggers over the last few years in north devon :fish:and i caught easily a dozen last week:bb:, off the shore or on a boat you will find them on a shallow reef at slack water. normally around a headland that jets into the sea, say about 20feet to 60feet. just fish as though fishing for bream but fish close to the bottom, squid strips or mackerel strips work fine on a size 2 hook, bites are small rattles on the rod and be prepared for a good thump on the rod. triggers are normally in good shoals so when locating them you should catch a few.

ps. you can get a good fillet off them to eat on the b b q with no bones in them, yum yum.
