First time I've caught a Turbot and from what I am told, Turbot are occasionally caught although it is not common to catch one at this size from the beach, in fact a local fishmonger told me that nowadays even from a boat they are rare of this size. He also went on to say that restaurants would pay big bucks for a Turbot like this. I was well chuffed with this catch.
No need for a left ball or a right one at that, just a strip of mackie & squid did the trick. Cheers!
