Yes, they are a very attractive fish, and of course very good eating. We land some respectable ones at Cambois, along with some good size Dabs. It's a cracking beach located between the River Blyth and River Wansbeck, so lots of tidal movement, good codling in the winter - plus the usual species.

Lovely fish. I'm very envious. I seem to get plenty up to1.5lbs but none bigger. Think I'll dedicate some serious time and thought to them over the next couple of years.

One of my big targets for this year. Gonna try the sandy beaches and coves of the Southwest, hopefully will be able to find them.

A cracker of a fish. I’m so impressed! A real specimen for Northumberland.
