Hi all, I have had a couple of years away from fishing, and have today decidied to satisfy the itch and buy myself a new reel, an Akios 656ctm. Previously i always used abu reels, but sold the three I had when i packed it in.
My query is.............

Is it possible to replace the mag adjuster with a longer length knob?? And if so, where is the best place to look for one??

The adjuster as standard is a bit short for my liking, as I found the technique for casting which worked best for me with my abu sportsmags was to cast with the magnets set around half strength then once the cast was away, to back them off completely.
The adjuster on this reel is a bit short and looks as if this is going to prove awkward lol

Comes with the fixing screw and maybe do them with powder coating to bling them up?

Thats the ticket!!! Would keep them standard without the powder coat though lol. How do i go about ordering one?? Can it be done over the phone and posted as i dont use paypal

I did have a look at your website funnily enough, but could only see parts for daiwa and abu reels??

I've only just had the prototype one to look at so it will be a week or so before I have any on the shelves .... I've sent you a PM.
