 I have done a lot of uptiding over the years and due to strong tidal flows mainly use fixed wire leads. I fish in the standard way with an uptide boom and baited hook hanging on the fixed wire for casting. Occasionaly my hook length can get tangled around the lead, causing kinking in the line and poor presentation.

My question is, has anyone tried using a shore pully rig ? I can't see why it wouldn't work, more streamlined, more distance, etc. I just need some idea one way or another, to give me confidence or not, in trying it.

Cheers in advance.
