Hi, This is Nick's 'Other Half'. Anyone that knows Nick, knows he and friends flew out today to Norway Tromso. Due to sudden illness a member of the team was not allowed to fly. Dave has now from the hospital been given the all clear to travel tomorrow Sunday 15th, at a cost of over £500.

Nick and friends are located now in Hamlidet . I've been advised ferries are closed on Sunday, which will make the round trip to pick up Dave a nightmare.

Is there anyone arriving in Tromso tomorrow evening about 9pm local time, that could give Dave a lift , even part of the way. His flight No

They do speak English, and have been very helpful, Bit of a long shot but worth a try.

Morf, unfortunately flight has already been booked, I don't think Dave knew about the ferries till after he booked his flight.

Ive just spoke to Din taxis in Tromso. They will take dave but it would cost 5000 kronehmy:..maybe stay overnight in tromso and catch the ferry on monday.......good luck.

Many Thanks to everyone who has offered help. Dave is now on his way as is Nick & company to pick him up. I know Nick will give all the details when he returns. I just hope there is some Halibut in the freezer bag when he returns:clap:.

I'm sorry I didn't see this one earlier. Since I have a friend driving from Tromsø this evening. She lives is Rotsund, about 15 km from Hamneidet.
But it seems like it did work out.
