Hi All,

Is E-bay worth it?

I am looking for a 2nd and 3rd pair of chest waders so that we are all protected for launching my boat.

4 times I have now been outbid and was willing to spend £25 inclusive of P&P.

A look on my local Angling centres web page produced this.

Chest Waders

Why use E-bay when I can have a brand new pair and a wader bag.:hammer:

Broadly yes, but some fall into a bidding frenzy and pay over the odds. Set your mind on a maximum, check seller's feedback, and consider using Auctionsniper.

BTW "Fleabay" really exists and is a totally separate set up.

I am an e-bay addict.
It has its good bits and its bad.
I buy ready rigs from shops on flea bay and they are really good value.
However i have bought a couple of sets of chesties. Both sh--e. Diawa new which let in water after a fortnight and second hand snowbee neoprenes which had worn out neoprene in the crotch---so leaked.
Recently bought some breathable Greys from a shop in Morpeth. Got some nice boots chucked in for £130.
If i was you i would use your local tackle shop and drive a deal.
Mick.
