hi piip's yep got out sat spite the forcast
sun shinning got to marina by 7.30 am rods ready and got out to crouch outer bouy not gonna go further out as i could see the sea was very lumpy further out
missed a cracking bass only lightly hooked got to mboat a shake of the head and off it was bugger i thought but i kept at it but all that was showing was 20 plus whiting kept 5 good size for fish cakes yummy
i was the only boat at apart from police rib going out and and 1 cruiser going in
tide comming in and getting more lumpy radio forcast for gale 6 to 8 so headed up river, got past wallasea past the point level with canowdon church set hook in and a few more whiting ? nothing else but at least they are showing up in numbers lets hope the cod start very soon

well done sounds like you and darren was the only two brave enough to venture out looks promiseing though the amount of fish coming out hopefully it will be a good winter keep it up:clap3:

Bad luck about missing the bass.

But otherwise well done.

We're hopefully doing an all nighter out of Wallasea on 28th / 29th September. Will post a report whatever the outcome.
