Went to pigeon holes this morning and started fishing on the right side caught a Gurnard mostly red in colour but bright blue outlined fins. Then went over to the left side by the small cove and turned away to get a brew and looked back at the rod which was going nuts. Grabbed the rod and started to reel in a good fight put up and at first glance thoght it was a Pollack but on landing it found it to be a codling.

That would be a tub gurnard. You can tell the difference between the red and tub by the blue fins. Tub come much larger as well. Didn't know the difference myself once and thought I had a Welsh record Red when it was a tub!Good site for identification is http://web.ukonline.co.uk/aquarium/pages/tubgurnard.html
