Hi Guys,

I'm thinking of giving Walton Pier a go on Friday pm and just wondered if you could give me some info regarding tactics, best places to fish, prices and parking etc

Any info would be greatly appreciated :victory:

£7 8 till 10, keep rigs simple 2 hook clip down works well or 1 hook clip down. Use lug and squid cocktail them to get out the bigger whiting. Anywhere on the pier tends to fish well just make sure u fish at high tide as low tends to be pretty crap. Good luck, let us know how u get on.

About 2 hours into the ebb seems to be the best time. As for bait, lug and squid will be fine. You can park anywhere along the seafront, it's free until June. Fish the stem if you want cod or bigger whiting. For pouting, doggies and whiting, the pier head is best. All the above information from H.C is correct as well
