Hi all I am in the market for a 25/30 hp two stroke TILLER control outboard in long shaft, top price paid for low hours and good condition would prefer yamaha but mariner or other top make ok , pm if you have something thanks . I did post this in the for sale section but figure more folks may see it here

The reason is the weight , the place I keep my boat I cannot leave the outboard on , it would be gone the first night !. A four stroke 25 hp weighs around 80 kilos whereas a 2 stroke 25 kilos weighs around 50 kilos , I can manage a 2 stroke !

Good reason

About the same weight as a 20hp Suzuki 4 stroke at 49 kgs.

The strange thing is most 25/30 hp weigh around the same but the difference between the Suzuki 20 and twenty five hp is 25 kilos!

Shame this has sold, it would probably be difficult to beat, and bearing in mind your requirements would be my number 1 choice: Tohatsu Outboard Engine for sale , ** Tohatsu 30hp 2/stroke very rare ** - Boats And Outboards

There are 3 Yamaha 30hp two strokes on Boats and Outboards at the moment - they say remotes but worth asking if they have the tiller - then keep the remotes to make for an easy sale when you're done with it.
