Just watching on the telly about sewage pumped in to the sea and the EA had carried studies that male fish had shown signs of becoming female through the chemicals we put down our sink

quite a few species start off male, then turn female later(pike, barramundi etc). Wonder if they took that into account? :g: Don't know about the he/she at number 13c though, hrt in the wrong hands?:lmao:

Bream and wrasse also change sex,
It is the oestrogen from contraceptive pills in urine that does the damage in watercourses.

To bring the discussion down a level or two;

A couple of years ago I was listening to a report on the radio about legislation regarding disposal of effluent from cruise liners etc. All very serious, but someone with a sense of humour had written the script the poor chap had to read....
"discharge of sewage would be permitted......

but logs had to be kept."

I had always fancied a job as a cruise ship Captain.... not so sure now....

hmmmm that's a keeper.....

that one can be flushed.....

wonder where they keep 'em
