Apologies for the late report as this trip was last week.

Ant invited us aboard his Alaska 500 and we launched out of Watermouth. It was almost warm at times and the fishing was steady but noticably quieter than normal and we wondered if all the fresh had decreased the salinity enough to have an effect.

Here are a few of the highlights....

Ant had a bit of a juggling act with a huss...

Meanwhile Emma caught a nice tope. 30 something lb.

Laura got snapped up by a good tope but hounds still keep a smile on your face.

Ant with a hound...

I had one.

A flock of pollack came through. Only a few pounds but some nice dinner sized fillets were collected and cleaned.

Boris didn't jump in to retrieve any doggies (sticks) this time so that was good. Leashing him to the boat helped

We enjoyed a nice sunset before returning home.

And just because the sun and clear skies have been few and far between I thought I'd share the sunset from the next evening at the Ho!

Cheers

Wearing Roxy gear to go fishing?!

She surfs, she fishes, she cooks you bream rogan josh (or was that your work?) AND she dresses sharply too. What a woman, eh? ;-)
The only down side is before Laura changed her name, she was called Adam.

God, I'm in for a kicking when the next boat invite happens:g:
