Wcsa uptiding festival date announced

The whitby charter skippers winter uptiding festival date has now been finalized the competition will start on monday the 30th november 2009 and finish on sunday the 6th december 2009 with a top prize of £1000 to the winner with the heaviest cod over the week also there is a £50 daily prize the competition was held over a long weekend last year but due to the popularity of the competition it has been decided to hold it over a week uptiding or downtiding is great fun and it has similarities to shore fishing shallow water and the fish give you a good scrap especially the big ones for a list of boats you can look on the wcsa website.

Whitby charter skippers had a meeting last night it was decide that a special prize of £100 will go the angler with the best any other species dureing the uptiding competition plus the daily £50 prize and of course the £1000 to the angler with the heaviest cod over the week.
