I have not been out for a few weeks but the last time I did shoreham was almost unfishable, can anyone tell me if the weed in shoreham or southwick has eased, if not how far do I need to go for weed free fishing? Cheers.

Are any mackeral coming up in any numbers at shoreham? Just gave worthing pier a quick bash after work didnt see any come up. Weed wasnt to bad just the odd floating stringy stuff. But still very thick and deep along the sea line, it would be unfishable if you were fishing from the shore.

Ive just caught 20 Macks in less than an hour on Shoreham arm,There were a fair few caught whilst i was there and the weed was not a problem at all,just some stringy stuff on the hooks and leader knot occasionally.

Although there were some big ol rafts of weed floating around it is avoidable.

I looked at the beach first and the amount of weed washed up is amazing.

I didnt see anyone on the East arm so i think thats where i will be this Fri/Sat.
