plagued by weed this last week ... north cornwall, anyone else suffering?? not usually a problem this time of year ... anyone with any idea why?? cheers

Hi Digit. I know what you mean. I went plugging twice over the weekend on South Cornish coast and noticed the same thing. It seems to have settled now though. Flippin' stuffs a menace. Did'nt put the fish off though

just got back from weeks shore fishing in co cork.(or should i say "weed fishing")
it ruined the fishing totally.every cast brought in 2-3kg weed!
is it a common problem everywhere?

Will let you know on Monday if the weed has reached the shore of Somerset. It could be because we have big tides comming up???!!!.
