Just bought a Greys Orion mk11 13' beachcaster on E-bay thought it was going to be £66 but somw *(&^%^$£ bid me up to £87.01
Be thankful you won the auction mate. That's a beautiful looking rod which I think retails for £149.99 - that one you got is brand new I believe. Also Greys offer a full unconditional lifetime warranty on all their sea rods so they must be pretty confident in them. I was actually bidding on that very same Greys Orion early on in the bidding but pulled out 'cause I won the auction on the 12ft 3-5oz Greys Phantom beachcaster (the bidding closed a couple of hours before the Orion) which I think will probably suit me slightly better. I also got bid up fairly high (£97 but that includes delivery) - hmmm wonder if it was the same somw *(&^%^$£ that bid you up after he had a go at me - however as the rod is also brand new and retailed for around £170 I'm really not too displeased. Enjoy the rod mate.

PS Now I know who you are I'll try to avoid bidding against you on ebay - well not too much anyway.

I just know it's not going to be long before she figures out it's going to be cheaper to buy a new fork than to continue subsidising my tackle dealers luxury motors. So if you see a lonely figure digging vast numbers of holes along the beach with a very small bucket of worms and a brand new, shiny fork muttering under his breath about the inequities of married life...............................................That'll be me
Where you gonna hide the new rod mate?

quick note
after a 30 minute call with greys today it seems the orions are not covered by the ulg as i tried to get mine repaired/replaced the best they can do is if you send back a dead orion they will knock 25%off the replacement
That's interesting pobolycwm - if you check out this link to the Harris Sportsmail site you will see their listing for the Orion clearly indicates it is covered by the unconditional guarantee.
