I was fortunate enough to pick up some Daiwa gear earlier in the year thanks to Fish of The Week prizes in the papers. Unfortunately I managed to break the butt section of a kenzaki 12-20 rod. I took this back to Daiwa last week to enquire about purchasing a replacement and was delighted to be presented with a new butt free of charge.

Great rod (didn't like it at first, but it has grown on me a lot) and thanks again Daiwa Wishaw.

glad they were helpfull for you, My mate has a TDX beachcaster that he got new, the tip ring on it was a wee bit squint and not a genuine Fuji BNHG (cheap copy) he wanted me to fit a new ring (straight) on it, couldn't get the old one off, was stuck fast with epoxy resin instead of normal hot melt glue. I contacted Daiwa and they didn't want to know (not sure if it was Wishaw branch - just contacted them direct through uk website), said they only ever use hot melt glue which was clearly not the case in this instance. Anyway got it off eventually sorted in the end but no thanks to Daiwa, still they do make cracking rods can't take that away from them
