Its a bit more than 100yds, Jamie. And defo not suitable for wheelchairs.

Worthing Pier might be a good bet. Straight down the A24 from Horsham and marginally closer than Shoreham. There is disabled parking pretty close to the pier and access to the prom and along to the pier is pretty easy. If you don't have a blue badge though the parking costs a blinkin' fortune except after 6pm or all day Sundays when street parking anywhere is free. Fish for gars a couple of hours either side of high tide between the tea hut and the southern pavilion on the east side. Standard sliding float set up for gars but there is quite a flow so you can fish a fixed bottom rig with two or three hooks flapping set very high in the water. Mackerel strip for bait.

In that case, Brolly, either the West Arm at Shoreham or Worthing Pier are probably worth a go. You could fish into the river at Littlehampton virtually from your car but the tide is pretty fierce and I'm not sure how you'd get on with a spinning rod.
