Hi
Went to West Bex yesterday got there at about 4pm. Was expecting the car park to be full but there were only a few cars there woohoo. Had a few little pollack and pout during daylight on rag and squid. After dark had loads more pout and dogfish. But then I got this little fellow I think its a smoothhound first one for me was well chuffed. Couldn't believe I caught it on a 3 hook flapper with rag and squid on a size 2 hook lol. Can anyone confirm what it is please? Only managed dog fish on the bass rod close in tried mackie heads, sand eel, mackie fillets and whole squids. Still yet to catch a bass.
Packed up at about 12:30am and headed home.
