Hi all fished west bexington yesterday conditions looked good when arrived nice on shore breeze some colour to the water. As the afternoon got on the colour started to clear and did manage a few mackerel. The bottom rods did not see much action as there was masses of spider crabs about lost lots of hooks and patience did catch 2 dogfish, 3 micro pout and one nice starry hound in the 8-9lb class which gave a few hairy moments in the surf, was hopeful for a bass in the weather but not to be, spoke to some other chaps in the car park who hadn't had as much luck, still nice to get away from work for the day:fishing1:
