I am hoping to go fishing next week over the west coast with a friend and we are trying to find some decent marks from Mallaig upwards. Any ideas?

Loch Duich is looking good at the moment. Anything with doggies would be great for me

i have fished skye for the past 4 summers. one of the better marks is off the braes end of the island. you can fish off the rocks but be careful cos the cliffs are steep. i fished from my boat last weekend at low tide and got a good lot of mackerel, though last year i got decent pollock with dexters and eels.

If we go onto Skye then that makes it a long day out for us. We are looking to stay on the mainland.
