Nice chatting with You today Bob, Would loved to have 'come out to play' for a couple of hours over high, but i'm affraid it would have taken a team of wild horses to get me on that beach in those conditions these days mate ! Hope You and Digger have some success either later on or tomorrow, will pop down in the morning if it looks a wee bit dryer , cheers, Mick.

Well after all the rain all day Mon.the rain finally drifted away around 1800hr,the wind dropped right down and at last we could fish with abit more gusto,Pete arrived and greeted us with an armful of pie'n'chips, top fella!
After being fed and being low water we started the night session, whiting a chuck and a couple of small bass, all put back, then things went quiet for about 2hrs until 1015hr,time for the big pennels loaded with fat prime yellows(many thanks to Mick/Pauline for top bait once again!) and Dungie blacks looking for a coddie or two. We waited and waited to no avail I'm afraid only tings, some a good size, another bass and a huge weever,we cleared up the beach and our own crap, deposited all in the bins and headed for some kip at last!
We had Yellows,Dungie Blacks,Rag,squid, blueys,Slipper limpet, the best bait by far was either Dungie Blacks on their own or cocktail end with Yellows.
So not an electric fishing session but nice to meet some good old friends, have a chin wag and be back home for a day or two,we will be back once the weather chills down and the coddies become more settled...beware!
