Hi all
Four of us met up yesterday and decided to make the most of the good weather. We arrived at my favourite mark at around 3pm. No-one else was fishing and it was easy to park for a change. A fifth member joined us a bit later and joined in our banter. To cut a long story short between the five of us we caught; 21 pollock (3/4lb-1 1/2lb) 2 wrasse (largest 1 1/2lb), and one 1 1/2lb mackeral.
All were released except the mackeral which had a date with a grill I believe.
All caught on a variety of baits including lug, rag, sandeel, mackeral and the largest wrasse caught on rifle-cleaning sponges soaked in pilchard oil!! Don't ask- weird idea of mine!!
As the sun went down behind the hill the fish were still biting(the mack on one of the last casts of the night). We left very happy around 8pm.

It was good to get out in the sun for a change. Hope to get down there again mid week if tides are right.
