Fished one of the new points at dungie today hoping for a fat spring bass. Fish a chuck, mostly rockling to start with then the odd pin whiting then near the top of the tide the dogs showed up, had 6 across the top of the tide. Close in, modest distance out, all the same.

No one else to be seen fishing- probably sensible folk staying warm and dry- but what's the point of having waterproofs (mostly waterproof as mine turn out to be) and a shelter if they're going to stay indoors?

Well done Ed for getting out mate. Looked bleak out there from the classroom marking work. Braver man than moi.

Let me know when you are off work again. I am out most days next week from Monday fishing.

Hello Paul, Work's taking me north this week so that's the weekend blown. AAArrrrggghhhh, just seen Seagull... not jealous... not at all.

Just hope the wind picks up after the predicted high pressure.
