Yes Matt, if you are refering to the rocks at the sewer outfall (lodmoor end) the area can produce good Bass, Rays, doggies and the odd bream, I have had many an enjoyable session there in the past and seen some good fish come out.
And no need for mega casting.

Yeh thats the place, Usually evenings to miss the holiday makers, There`s good sport there through most of the summer, and good fun can be had if you walk along the beach with a spinning rod and some toby`s or plugs casting in as you go along for Bass which are mainly small schoolies but also the odd decent sized ones. (my biggest from there was 7lb.) There is a small reef about 30yrds out that runs most of the way up towards Bowleaze cove, most come from within this area.
As a matter of interest, if you carry on down towards Bowleaze there are some rocks at the far end of the bay, under the holiday camp on the top, There have been a few John dory caught off those rocks in the summer.
