[The dogs pollacks]

Hi all, may make a trip down to Weymouth sunday with kids, is much happen in the harbour like to try with the floats and crab lines with the kids, if so where is the best place to fish, the kids are aged from 6-10 so somewhere safe and easy would be nice (might upset there mother if one drowns).
Fished on some wide steps by a yact club(over the bridge by tackle shop turn left walk towards sea for a bit) had a few small Wrasse and spider crabs.

The stone pier is a good place to take the kids, no feathering allowed on there so they are perfectly safe from flying leads, plus it's railed off so they can't fall in.

Float fishing from the end of the Stone Pier is producing some mackerel and gar to floatfished mackerel strip or small sandeels..... depth 9 or 10' was working the other day.. Ragworm dropped down the side, close in, on small hooks ( 4 or 6) will get enough little wrasse and sea scorpions to keep the ankle-biters busy. details on my blog. It's a bit snaggy but that's where the wrasse like to be !
