Sounds like it was a great end to a blinding weekend - sorry I couldn't be there. Next year I'll stay an extra night to be sure I am there. The boy can just miss another day's school....

Totally agree Andy, was great meeting you and everyone else, amazed at how few there were listening to Mike Ladle, what a great down to earth bloke that so thinks about what he is doing with regard his fishing. It was a great evening, Mike, Brian and his wife have excelled themselves and cant wait till next year.

As for the Ring story, I'm sure my thick head the next morning was due to dehydration from crying, funniest story I have heard in a long time and so well told Nathan:roll1::roll1::roll1:

Is it too long to relate here - sounds like a good story!
NB out tonight, tomorrow morning and tomorrow night. If it's good I'll PM you if you want to come over?

Wouldnt be able to do the story justice, would have to come from Nathan or Mick first hand.

Mrs is back in Uni so am watching the kids and then working all weekend:sad:

Go abuse some lures and find some good fish, sure George will show you how:whistling Thanks for the offer though, am trying to work out how I can get out for a couple of hours more locally tonight

ummm...this story could not possibly be repeated on a public forum, it is indeed one of the funniest stories I know, and being with Nathan on the weekend that it happened about 6 years ago was a treat. Lord of the "ring" may give you an incling...
