The sun is out the sky is blue.
So I'm off to the beach to admire the view.
While I'm there I might as well fish.
Purely for pleasure and not for the dish.
Rays, Bass, whiting or even a cod.
I'm not really bothered what rattles my rod.
Just being by the sea is enough for me.
A few hours of serenity and home for tea.
I've planned to meet and fish with a friend.
So later this evening a report I will send.

Got to the beach by just before 1pm to fish an hour down to low and a couple back up. I'd just finished tackling the second rod when I saw the smiling face of Paul aka Bluebird 8 heading down towards me.. A hand shake greeting ( we haven't fished together for a while, although we regularly chat on the phone ) was followed by... " why are you fishing by here ? I'd have gone over by there ". lol
Well we stayed where we were and we were both soon fishing a variety of methods and baits.
Just a light 3mph breeze and a clear sky with a warmish sun made it a very pleasant afternoon.
The next 3.5hrs. were filled with chat and banter, interspersed with bait changes and occasionally clearing a small amount of weed from our lines. We were even paid a visit from another member and his lady who were out for a walk and over for a chat
I'm sure by now you'll have guessed the fishing was a little slow.
And so it was that as the sun dipped towards the horizon we called it a day.

We did however put one fish on the beach although it species may be open to some debate. Happy Hooking
