I bought some Steiner Millitary / Marine Binoculars about two years back from Scierra Trading Post in the USA. They were half the price that they are here. Doesnt make sense to me, German built binoculars cheaper to import from the states?!

Anyway, they dont seem to have that model in now but do have some nice good quality binoculars in at the moment for decent prices.

Ive bought loads of stuff from them over the years and found them very good to deal with.

HI SEA DOG BIT OFF TRACK BUT WITH REGARD TO YOUR COMMENTS REGARDING THE GERMAN BINOCULARS BEING CHEAPER IN THE STATES. FEW YEARS AGO I BUILT A DRAG RACER . I LIVED IN KENT AND VDO GAUGES WERE BASED IN TUNBRIDGE WELLS ABOUT 10 MILES FROM WHERE I LIVED. A BUDDY OF MINE I WENT TO SCHOOL WITH WAS PRODUCTION MANAGER HE GOT ME 15% OFF IF I COLLECTED AND PAID CASH FOR ANY SPEEDOS ETC I HAD BUILT. CRAZILY IT WAS CHEAPER FOR ME TO BUY THESE GAUGES FROM CLAUDES BUGGIES IN CALIFORNIA AND PAY THE IMPORT DUTY. THE GAUGES STARTED IN KENT WENT TO GERMANY, THEY WERE THEN EXPOERTED FROM GERMANY TO MEXICO AND THEN FROM MEXICO TO CALIFORNIA AND THEN BACK TO ME 10 MILES FROM WHERE THEY WERE ORIGINALLY CREATED. CRAZY CRAZY WORLD EH!

HI GUYS can anyone recomend a good pair of binoculars in the 100 pound bracket 7*50 power thanks stu
Fujinon, excellent bins, bak 4 roof prisms multi layer, nitrogen sealed, etc. similar specs to steiner etc,
but if you keep an eye on the bay from the states you can a pair up ok, with P&P might just go out of your buget but well worth it for long term, top quality and excellent in low light, the US mil and cops use them i believe
