I'm curious too. Who does make it - abu etc don't seem to know about levers. They can extend movement and make setting easier.

Me thinks it's a big game reel. Hence the lever and strike full. Looks a lot better than a shaky lever drag though.

OK lads it,s a AVET SX 5.1
In free spool it spins for ever in cast mode 15sec
the drag can be moved from 2lb to 14lb or you can lock it up fully
all gears are s/steel it has 6 s/steel bearings.
one peice 6061 t6 builit cage and spool.
i just may have to fit a knoby mag so i can cast in free spool.

looks a bit OTT to me, a bit like a bog standard fezzy before some chav gets hold of it and puts silly kits on and paints it pretty colours.

how much was it?

i didn't think the 7HT's held that much line.

I'm curious - you will beach cast with that once the mag brake is fitted? Sounds like an interesting idea. None of the beach reels are up to much strength wise really.

yes mate
been looking a long time for a reel of this power and build
you can not beat a lever drag to fight big fish as you have full control on how much load you put on the fish.
in the past it had to be big boat reels for this type of drag
now i have this small reel to fight smutts and tope from the beach in the UK.

7HT hold 370yd of .35=15lb line
and so does the AVET SX 5.1.
ITS not what looks like it the build quality there is not a reel out there that can match the build of these AVET SX reels
