Conqaqueen caught this mullet yesterday at Broad Haven. Can any of our learned friends on the forum tell us what kind of mullet it is?

Golden grey?? If there is a gold spot on the gill cover then it's one of these. Looks to be one in the photo but not overly clear.

Looking at that pic im swayed towards a thin lip gray mullet, Just out of curiosity what sorta area was it caught in and what bait was it caught on?
It was caught over sand and on ragworm.

i'd say a juevenile golden grey, you can just about see the colour starting to come out on the gill cover as slackliner noticed

Do we have a definative verdict yet???? It does look like it has a gold spot coming on the gill plate. was expecting a bass! lol

Lol ok then. Think we both got 8 species at the moment. Made my day catching this little 'un. as small it was. :notworthy
