fished gosport creek today for afew hours at low tide with no real sucess loads of bass chasing my lures right up to the edge but never biting!! very frustrating!!! but a lady and her nipper were crabbing on the wier and she told me she saw a flat fish, i immediatly said bound to be a flounder and showed her a picture of one in my tide table, then she pointed it out and i was baffled, it was the same shape as an average sole, creamy/****** in colour and had spikes all round its head and body around an 1nch long??!! it flapped off in a flattie way and i couldnt get my head round it?! any ideas guys??
