me and my son have been fishing around the welsh coast and the wirral with no luck whatsoever&#33;as we travel from the midlands we are not in touch with local knowledge and we very rarely catch, you can guarantee someone will tell us we are either fishing the wrong place or the wrong tide.the last 3 times we have fished we havnt even had a bite nothing new there.does anyone have any ideas?

<font color='#000080'>You could try fishin down on the South coast at Selsey or Pagham. Its a fair old drive (3-3 1/2 hrs).But we&#39;re catching Smoothhounds at the moment, double figure fish are common and so are large bags of fish. Hit the right tide at the time and you will go home knackered from hauling in fish. Be quick tho&#39; it won&#39;t last long:D</font>

<font color='#000000'>Try the Wirral Sea Fishing website. Very informative with regards to catch reports and tides and stuff. We&#39;ve traveled over on the ferry a few times and the info on this site helped us immensely.</font>
