Gents,
I bought a set of the standard m427's a few years ago off a mate and they have abu grip lock shitty reel seats.
I really hate these and have put up with them for too long.

I mainly fish for conger and Huss and the reels move when pulling in big fish or out of snags!
If I do have them super tight there a complete ball ache at the end of the session with cold greasy mackerel hands!

My old zippys had a standard reel seat with a notch cut out and a coaster gripping the rod.
These were superb!

Who can make 2 of these reasonably cheap that would fit my m427's???

Any help will numb my 2 year pain with the Abu **** locks.
Cheers

Actually these are quite simple to work out, so I 'd go on them myself.
Measure the butt diameter, take a fuji seat and a suitable coaster (e.g. if the blank is 26 mm diameter, take a 26 mm seat and a 27 mm coaster), make the due cuts with a junior hacksaw and fit the bits together.
If I can will take couple of pictures of one of mine later.
