Where to fish in the next two days?

ive go a rare reprive from the mid week work toil to wet a line for the first time in a long time so as hoping for someone to lend a hand and recomend a place to try day or night within 45 mins travel of sunny southend at the minute? all help will be much appreciated

If you want to have a good night yting bashing, give Barge pier a thrashing, with a night tide. Should be producing some good action as yting are now showing at Thorpe Bay.

Would have thought south shore of the Crouch (Hole in the wall and points east) would be heaving with whiting now...

Whiting not around in numbers yet in the river but maybe after this w/ends big tides ?

Too much freshwater in the river. When the rain stops the whiting will come upriver - hopefully followed by the codling (plenty caught from Burnham last year) :victory:
