i am going to cornwall next week ( portscatho)
can any body tell what fish can be caught there and
also recommend what kit/ bait to use
i am new to all this
Hi Goffy. Porthscatho is fairly sheltered from prevailing westerly winds. Floatfishing from the rocks at Pednvadan point on the North side of the bay will catch pollack and wrasse. Bottom fishing from Porth Farm Beach will give a few bass and very occasional plaice. The rocks further along to the west is probably your best bet. To be honest, your probably better off trying other nearby marks around Falmouth or back towards Portloe. Send me a PM if you want to know more.
