Hi Folks,

Having done shore angling for a long time I'm thinking of investing with a mate in a fast fishing boat. As its our first boat we dont want to spend too much but ideally I'd like a boat which would take a max of 5 people. The likes of the Seahog Commodore is a new boat which is 17ft and takes 6 but I'm trying to find an older boat with a similar amount of space. The seahog shortie looks quite spacious but is only 15ft? A Wilson Flyer is 17ft but seems small amount of fishing space. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Si

Welcome to the forum.

I'd recommend a Reiver Sportsman, but second hand ones are rarer than hen's teeth.

Quite a few threads on this subject in the "Boat Owning" forum. Maybe you should PM a Mod to move this thread there.
