im fishing off the coast at rhos on sea, for bass mainly, it is rocky.

bogboy
how much are they 2nd hand?? also do you want to sell yours?? lol.
if its rocky and you want an all rounder ( that would do light line work)i would go for a penn 525 mag, if its pure heavyground/species work i would go for a slosh 30, ive got 3 2 with mono and one with braid, they are mega, complete work horse that gets the job done well, casts good, retrieves fast, strong , robust, good line capacity,

the same goes for the slosh 20 although you will loose line capacity, i have found the bigger reel great, i use it in the reel down position and have plenty grip on the spool

I'm the same as far as which multi to buy:crazy:
I tried this question on a similar thread, fishing a mix of clean and rough ground.

 Veals have the Daiwa Slosh 20 and 7HT at a good price brand new, there's on ly £5 difference between them the 7HT being more expensive, can anyone recommend which one?

pick the sl20 unless you want a pure casting reel that to be fair has no guts in it if you hook something reasonable
Hi,

:thumbs:Thanks for that I'll be looking to get one soon, my casting needs practice but by the sound of things the slosh is the one to give me more variety. :)
