Hi all, I'm after a bit of advice my current FS rod is a 14' Diawa SLR although a good casting rod in moderate conditions it struggles when theres a headwind also bite detection is poor when a good tide is running. What I'm after is a pokey rod with good bite detection which doesn't fold up when there's a good run on, fancy treating myself to a Zzippie I,m a newly convert to fixed spool so any advice would be welcome.

I did have a lt 14 hi flex built for fixed spool but now sold lol , M4 / M4 evo works well with a fixed spool for bigger baits and leads , tip will bend in tide and not bump out lead
