Hi fished the horses today,10.30 till 2.30,bait fresh lug on a two hook flapper,2 rods,one at 60yds the other about 90yds.Had 7 small bass and 1 flounder,most coming from distant rod..Stoped getting bites at about 1.30 .never had much luck here when tide is about 2 hours from high tide ,wonder if any body else has found it the same??? Anyway beats working ,Tight lines NICK....

Better than yesterday! I tried all but very long range, fished from about two hours after low til about two after, a few bites but ultimately only one bass of 35cm or so, very poor!
Gonna try different tactics tonight, big baits and rougher ground I think.

Thanks for the report and well done on catching a few. Seems to be looking up a bot even though the sizes are a bit on the small side. I've always caught more over high tide in the Winter down there, but in the first couple of hours after low in the Summer months
