Finally managed to get back out fishing after a few weeks, my friend couldn't make it until midday so we decided to stay local and with the tide already coming up as we left Lowestoft port we headed north to fish the rest of the tide off Corton. Had a mixture of bait, fresh and frozen black lug, squid and raw prawns and the whiting liked it all only beaten to the baits twice by dogfish. A lot of the whiting were keeper size and we had 20+ each but all bar one which was used as live bait were returned. Very hectic session with baits barely settling before the rattles started, was quietly hoping for a bass or codling but was still good fun and my fingers are crossed that I can talk the other half into coming out over the weekend for some more
