can someone give a quick answer regarding dracon braid costs..

i see some on fleabay and its alot cheaper than other braids why ?

it may be thicker than other braid , is that the only difference ?

how does it compare in thickness too same strength mono ?
does the dracon braid stretch much ?

i suppose i cant grumble, im sure it cant be any worse than mono. ( i hope lol ) .

Do you mean DACRON??

If so, it is much thicker, and alot cheaper. Only ever seen it used for shark fishing really, and i was prone to twisting quite badly.

oops yes Dacron braid. not Dracon.

ive noticed my other braid twisting badly causing knots in the line,
it was alot more expensive .

i can only try it, its purchased now.

Dacron is not braid - it is 'braided' - like plaited - Dacron is == dacron.

"braid" is basically this stuff .. . . . ..

I heard if you wanna have quite a bit of space on a charter boat, use dacron.

The stuff has been around for years. I did have a spool a few years ago, green & white spiral wound. Horrible stuff :yucky:
